    St Nicholas Church at the corner of Church Road with the A191, Station Road. The junction is closed to vehicles. The nearest Metro station is South Gosforth (immediately opposite the church), and there are bus stops on Station Road, outside the church.

    Sunday  Worship

    7 .30 Morning Prayer

    8.00 Holy Communion  - quiet, traditional langauge worship, 25 minutes

    10.00 a.m. Parish Eucharist
    First Sunday of the Month: All Age Family Eucharist - about an hour
    ​Other Sundays : Sung Eucharist with hymns and sermon; Fr. Ted's Corner and Sunday School for younger members of our congregation.
    ​Third Sunday of month (normally) Eucharist includes prayer and anointing.
    Every Sunday: coffee  and chat afterwards. Lunch together several times each year.

    6.00 Evening Worship

    Our normal pattern of  evening worship:
    Normally First and Fourth Sundays: Choral Evensong with hymns, short homily and prayers
    ​Third Sunday : Hail Gladdening Light - contemporary contemplative worship and prayer
    ​Other Sundays: Said Evening Prayer

    Midweek Eucharists

    Tuesday Evening Eucharist (7.30 p.m.) 
    quiet, reflective worship, lasts about 35 minutes.

    First Wednesday of the month : Abbeyfield Communion

     10.30 a.m. - all very welcome. For details see What's On Page and Calendar.

    Thursday Holy Communion (10.00 a.m.)
    Using the Book of Common Prayer. There is a sermon. Afterwards we have coffee in church.  25+ worshippers.
    ​On first Thursdays of ecah month there is a short Bible Study after coffeee followed by lunch (£3) in the Job Bulman - all wlecome to lunch even if you don't want to come to the Bible Study!

     Daily Office

    Monday : 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m.
    Tuesday : 8.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m.
    Wednesday 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m.
    Thursday : 9.15 a.m. and 5.00 p.m.
    Friday : 9.15 a.m.  and 6.30 p.m.
    Saturday 5.00 p.m.
